This is the first milk frother I'm aware of that is able to produce milk texture required for latte art, and with some practice is the frothed milk is pretty much indistinguishable from actually steamed milk. It's very easy to get the hang of for someone who already knows how to steam milk for latte art, as you know what texture you're going for. For someone without prior experience, it will take some practice.

The original Nanofoamer was by far the best non-steam milk foamer product I've tried by a large margin. The newer model with the built in Lithium Ion battery is a big upgrade though. I had already bought rechargeable Lithium Ion AA batteries to put in the original but the "tip" on mine had slowly cracked and broken so it would no longer hold the screens and finally wouldn't stay on the shaft. I bought the new one because the tip had been redesigned to fix the cracking issue.
The new model is much more than just a battery upgrade though, it is significantly more powerful and that actually makes a big difference in its performance. It's very nice that it has LEDs on it to let you know the state of charge as well, and I like the click to activate nature of the new unit over the hold to activate of the old one. The power of this new unit is impressive, it's a big jump over the old one, which was already more powerful than anything I'd tried before.

Negatives: solid-plastic-sided screen design does not froth milk or half and half well, what little froth it creates immediately deflates; refund policy is imprecise (eg., money “may be returned… in a certain number of days”), 30-day window is too short when the company leaves the return process and time it takes to get the product back to the seller completely up to the customer; no customer service number to call; do not recommend this product, especially for the cost.
Positives: rechargeable; strong, two-speed motor; well reinforced shaft.
