SAFE FOR LIQUIDS
Go ahead and pull a shot of espresso right in the Subscale if you wish. It's a cup after all, so it will safely hold your precious liquid.
The cup is made of Tritan and rated to support liquids up to 100°C for two hours.
IPX-4 Splash Resistant
You can safely wash the Subscale under running water but do not submerge it.

I get enjoyment out of using this every day. It's well-designed, appealing to look at, highly functional and somehow oddly satisfying. I've been enjoying it for 6 or 7 months, literally use it twice a day The tactile and visual experience is so well thought out, it's just a pleasure. I was weighing my coffee on a kitchen scale before this, which was awkward, unattractive, and needed more steps to the result, which is the right amount of coffee. I do not have a grinder that measures on its own, so it's my best coffee friend in the kitchen. Or you an take it with you when you travel. Makes a terrific gift for any coffee nerd.

This seems like a great idea and a great product. However, my experience has not been very pleasant. The instructions are very vague and operating. The unit has been a very frustrating experience to say the least. This is a great concept if it works or was easier to use, but unfortunately, I’m going to return mine.

We designed it with simplicity in mind – it's a single-button device with a single purpose: press the button, weigh your beans, and let it sleep to shut off. If you need to tare, press the button again. That's all there is to it.

It looks slick, has a quick accurate response, and speeds up my workflow with less fussing with settings and one less piece to manage since the scale is the cup. It’s an awesome addition to help keep clean what can be a messy space.

The scale is nice looking and its precision is good.
However the fact it shuts OFF automatically after 20 seconds makes it not so practical. We believe there should be an option to have the scale stays ON until it is manually turned OFF.

It's so handy. Works right away and pour out easily into the grinder. I love it. I don't make espresso. I prefer the Hario V60. I don't bother with latte or latte art, but had to choose one to submit the review.
