Subscale's Tritan body is food-safe and ready for anything - hot or cold, wet or dry. And with IPX-4 splash resistance, cleanup is a breeze.
SAFE FOR LIQUIDS
Go ahead and pull a shot of espresso right in the Subscale if you wish. It's a cup after all, so it will safely hold your precious liquid.
The cup is made of Tritan and rated to support liquids up to 100°C for two hours.
IPX-4 Splash Resistant
You can safely wash the Subscale under running water but do not submerge it.

Style, functionality and the design of this scale are superb. Also the packaging, manual, etc. are really nice.
One star is deducted, because I (personally) would prefer some haptic feedback when I turn the scale on, and it is a bit slow to react to changes.

The subminimal Subscale is a piece of espresso art.
It is beautifully engineered and has become an integral part of my espresso workflow.
I just touch the button - add the beans (usually about three measures), - and the Subscale lights up on the inside black surface, as if by magic, to show my 18gram dose!
Pour the beans into the grinder and put the Subscale under the exit chute to collect your ground coffee - and again check the ground weight is all there!
For individual dosing, this product is absolutely superb. It does the job with style.
I just love it!

When I first saw this product, I knew it was one for me. Something that would add value to my coffee preparation routine - whether pour-over or espresso. My regular scales are now used for weighing the portafilter or sitting under my pour-over equipment (V60, Chemex, etc). Well designed and feels high quality. Recommended.
