SAFE FOR LIQUIDS
Go ahead and pull a shot of espresso right in the Subscale if you wish. It's a cup after all, so it will safely hold your precious liquid.
The cup is made of Tritan and rated to support liquids up to 100°C for two hours.

You can safely wash the Subscale under running water but do not submerge it.

The display is invisible when the scale is inactive. Everyone who sees it light up has their mind blown.
The cup is slightly internally tapered. It pours whole beans perfectly into a grinder of any size with no spillage.
The scale is accurate, with precision to 0.1g

I got the Subliminal Subscale as a gift and I’m very happy with it. These are scales combined with a small cup, so you can both weigh your coffee and pour it out right away. They’re really beautiful, take up very little space, and look more like a decorative bowl than a kitchen tool you’d want to hide. Cleaning is super easy too — I hardly ever need to do anything. Coffee pours out cleanly with very little spillage, so it doesn’t make a mess around.
They’re nice to use. The bright indicator inside looks great and always impresses people. The display reacts quickly when I pour coffee, and it feels like they understand what I’m doing.
Now, about the small downsides. The main one is that all functions are controlled by just one button — turning on, switching between grams and ounces, and calibration. That makes things a bit less intuitive, especially since the unit indication isn’t very obvious. I’d prefer to have a separate button for rarely used things like changing units, maybe hidden underneath or on the back.
Also, one tiny thing — since they look more like a vase than scales, I sometimes forget to turn them on before I start pouring coffee. Not a real problem, just something that happens every now and then.
Overall, these are very convenient and compact coffee scales, and it’s hard to imagine a more attractive set of scales that works this well.
