I've been using the tool for every shot I've pulled since buying it and it has worked wonders with evening out my grounds and helping prevent any channeling. The tool is easy to use and compact enough that it can be stored basically anywhere. It's magnetic so I have mine stuck to the side of my espresso machine and it's easily accessible when pulling a shot. Already recommended the Flick to a couple friends!

The flicking mechanism for retracting the needles is very satisfying, and the whole pen feels very rigid.
